The food was good. I ordered three Katsu pork, and it was made crispy and nice. The sushi was delicious. Good location
Date Night We realized we hadn't been to Shokunin in over a year 😮. Probably because it's so easy to go overboard and order All The Things. Decided to have a dinner splurge. My husband dreams about the Karaage here (fried chicken) as well as the Pork Katsu. It would probably be his choice for his Last Meal 😆. He also got some Spicy Edamame and a Spicy Rainbow Roll. After seeing a tray full of Sashimi leaving the Sushi Bar he treated himself to the Blue Fin Tuna Belly 🤑. It melted in his mouth, he was ln Love! Obligatory carafe of Hot Sake throughout the meal. I started with the Veggie Tempura. My favorite roll is the Bay Scallop Tempura roll, they pop in your mouth with bursts of sweetness! Also the Gyuri Special Roll which is veggies wrapped in cucumber. A Veggie Hand Roll as well that I ended up taking home. Finished with a Malibu Strawberry Bay Breeze. Our server Jason has been there forever and helped us many times. He always does a Great job! Two hours later we called it quits. My husband had a nice assortment of leftovers for lunch the next day. There is no better Sushi Joint in Lincoln. Highest quality every time! *****Originally posted to EAT IT in Lincoln, NE *****
Great service. So many option on the menu. Delicious sushi.
Beautiful atmosphere and artwork. The sushi was fresh, high quality. The waiter was kind and knowledgeable. It really was a fun relaxing dinner. We ordered several different kinds and each one was perfect. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try their Ramen! They do have gluten free options, and I'm talking main menu items.
It’s not an all-you-can-eat place, but the rolls are pretty big and really colorful. You’ll probably need more than one kind to feel full, but the quality makes it worth it.
